Well, day 2 is a dumpster fire. And we are only 2.5 hours into it. To my unofficial count, started with 145 (10 lost on day 1). We got 12 no picks on day 2, Bertens gone (3 picks), Cornet gone (22 picks), and Osorio Serrano gone (10 picks). Rogers was up a double break at 5-2, served for the match once and was broken. She was up 5-3 in the breaker, had 3 match points. She lost it all and was broken in the first game of the third set. She had 5 picks too. All I can say is the 22 people that picked Kasatkina, 26 that picked Pegula, and 14 that picked Mertens....be scared!!!

I'm always scared when I make picks in this contest --- and for good reason! Hopefully, Pegula will overcome the bandwagon odds and make it through.

Alize Cornet (22 victims) STANK TMQ was actually shocked by the number of people who chose Cornet--why would you pick from this match when there were so...many...others? It's been awhile since Cornet has taken out a large chunk of the pool, but whenever it happens you deserve it.

Maria Camila Osorio Serrano (10 victims) DANK Tempting first round pick given her recent results, but y'all put way too much pressure on her for a Grand Slam debut match.

Petra Martic (8 victims) DANK Martic is usually good to come through few SP rounds most slams, but not for you!

Sara Sorribes Tormo (7 victims) DANKAnother player with a flameout after a promising clay season, who I would have held off choosing until she made it through a round. Zhang is crafty and both a lot of junk and flat balls; I would have made a safer pick.

Shelby Rogers (4 victims) DANKShelby was all but through when she snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, dragging you down with her.

Kiki Bertens (2 victims) STANKOne of the biggest beneficiaries of this bogus two-year ranking system, Bertens has only won one match so far this year, against an opponent ranked 708 in the world. You didn't do your research.

Anna Blinkova (2 victims)STANKBaptiste is on the rise and one to watch--too dangerous to pick against her with an opponent that I'm guessing you've never actually seen play. If you have, you must be her coach or her mom.

Laura Siegemund (1 victim) STANK STANK STANKTMQ has named Siegemund "Most Obnoxious Player on Tour" and personally delights in each and every one of her ever-increasing-in-frequency losses.

Johanna Konta (1 victim) STANKI'm going to chalk up this misguided choice to the fact that the picker has probably spent most of the last year hiking through the mountains and hasn't seen Konta play tennis in 2021.
