somehow, I have much less success with the men's suicide pol than with the women's.. through the year, I tend to ignore everyone except the big 3 because I know the rest will do nothing.. so I dont end up tracking anyone else.. result is, when the suicide pool gets going, I know nothing about anyone but the big 3.. strange, unintended consequence of the awesome domination of the big 3!

Querry and Monfils did their pickers very few favors.
Nishikori is in deep problems, just like he likes it. He will make it in 5, after giving his pickers, at a minimum, cardiac arrhythmia.

I don't follow the men's game at all but I sometimes do better in the men's pools anyway - I think I often save 20+ women in the early rounds that I think could go deep depending on how the draw breaks and so end up making a dubious pick instead, whereas on the men's side I can get away with just picking a seed on track to play Djokovic in a round or two.

Which is the case tomorrow. Garin Vs P. Martinez, and the winner goes against Novak.
So. Do you go with Garin? Neither has a lot of grass experience, but you know neither will beat Djokovic.

Haha, I think I am indeed picking Garin - though that's mostly because I want to save Rublev and Djokovic and think all the other matches could easily go either way.

I picked Garin, but not with a lot of confidence. There just weren't any other picks that gave me much more confidence. For example, Rublev has a 2-5 record against his opponent. And it's hard to pick against Fucsovics after he beat Sinner.

Surely Garin can beat a retired Hall of Fame baseball pitcher right? :)

I had totally forgotten about THAT Pedro. Which is funny because when I used to register for forums, I would use his data for mine ;)
And yes, he surely can. But he just lost the third set and there is that little knot in the stomach because 45 of us are riding that bus :vomit:

Two people picked Djokovic! Wow. I'm rooting for them.
