Love the dress, though it's not a great photo. Don't love every detail but overall love the cut, color, the pleats, the sheer midriff, the tank style. I would buy this and play in it. Can't wait to see all the RG clothes. (I refuse to say "kits" for some reason.)

Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
Is it my imagination or is it the case that, this year, many girls junior champions of a few years back are finding their feet - Gauff, Swiatek, Osorio Serrano, Tauson, Badosa (even Barty).. only Osaka and Andreescu weren't, so far as I know, junior champions.. has something changed in the way the world works?

Osaka never played on the ITF Junior Circuit. Andreescu never won a junior singles slam title but did win two junior doubles slam titles and the Orange Bowl and was ranked #3.

Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
I don't follow the ITF jr circuits but maybe it is that the players need to go through it now as there is no one that outshines the rest. Maybe? You know, the days of a Hingis or the Williams coming straight to the pros and winning are so over...

Don't forget that the players had almost a year to rest and work on their games. I know everyone doesn't have the financial means to hire a Witt or travel to Mouratoglou or the Nadal Academy but I'm sure everyone did what they could so that they could hit the ground running so to speak.

Good observation. Andreescu didn't win a junior Slam, but she had a successful juniors career. Osaka's dad followed the Williams' blueprint and it worked.ashkor87 wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 4:12 am Is it my imagination or is it the case that, this year, many girls junior champions of a few years back are finding their feet - Gauff, Swiatek, Osorio Serrano, Tauson, Badosa (even Barty).. only Osaka and Andreescu weren't, so far as I know, junior champions.. has something changed in the way the world works?

If Jil finds Alizé & Sloane's pics a toss up, I know where my vote lies. Holy Sloane

Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
some (maybe false?) equivalences..
Barty = Federer (good volleyer, great serve, wonderful footwork)
Swiatek = Nadal (topspin, movement, confidence)
Andreescu = Djokovic (no weakness, equally good on all surfaces)
Serena, of course, is all by herself.. she has no equal or equivalent..

Re: Tennis Players Random, Random 2.0
I appreciate your comparisons, but you are comparing 3 Slams (WTA) Vs 58, with no more final appearances to talk about.
Serena can be compared to the three monsters as she has been one herself.
I don't know...

I would not have recognized Timea.
