To me too. Muguruza looks just as good if not better.

I love Garbie, but... I find Badosa to be stunning.
But if you gang think she is as pretty as Paula, so be it. I can like them both. Which I do.

I like the second one better too. I think the first one is aiming for the younger market with the sneakers, bag, and sports shirt.

The second one with the Chanel-style jacket, stylish but not "out there" hair, jeans, a nice shirt and the Nike bra peeking out is for a more mature but still young and chic woman.

I like Paula. If she can just rein herself in a bit and not play balls to the wall on every shot I think she'll do well. If she goes deep in a Slam forget it. Garbi, she's coming for you.

I don't think this shoot was posted here. I went back about five pages and didn't see the pics. If it was I apologize.

Already careening out of control I'd say. The Silicon Valley Classic, which gave her a wild card, has her in the tournament photos next to Sloane, Madison, and Sofia. There are quite a few good players in the draw that are much more deserving of that billing.

I know this has happened with a couple of other players, Coco and Bianca, come to mind for instance, but their hype started was well before their big result, there was build up for both. Emma is more in line with a Melanie Oudin to me, pretty much out of nowhere, so it's a bit over the top already.

Her parents are models, she's going to be hard pressed not to pretty. But I was talking more about that you think Garbine's endorsements are going to flee because Paula is suddenly somewhat popular. Garbine's brand has been cultivated over 10 years, it's not disappearing overnight even if Paula wins a GS tomorrow.

Stunning is not a word I'd use with Paula personally. She's pretty to me. If she looked like she does in that second photo all of the time, I'd say she's at a minimum, very pretty. But her professional photos are more uneven, she's not giving you what Elle captured every time. Hopefully she can try to get more of this out of them in the future, this photographer really maximized what she's got and hit the right angles too. She looks wonderful in these.

Elena Rybakina at the Bolshoy Theatre. She doesn't share much, so very nice. The girl with her is Sofya Lansere, a Russian tennis player.

Here is Thiem hitting LEFT handed forehands, backhands and forehands:

I can guarantee that this sort of thing is not common with pro players. There may be some who can pull it off, but it is by no means a general reflection of how good the pros are, or of what they are capable of doing.
