Couldn't see the match but stats tell the story..Coco held her dfs down to 6 and QZ won hardly any return points...Coco served well, it seems .great if she can do that

Keys could only play a defensive game and that's not her thing. Iga also played really well.

Keys takes too long a swing, needs time, which Iga never gives you ...
When I watch Iga, I am reminded of Achilles fighting Hector..just hurries and hassles you ..

AI gives Collins a 2 in 3 chance of beating Vika..a bit high? 50-50 is more like it...Collins is on form but Vika has class ..

Sabalenka is nursing a lower back injury suffered in her R16 match that she is playing through

As a believer in history repeating itself, I certainly expect Swiatek and Sabalenka to win their semis..unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as a fast-improving young player..I don't think Coco is that, any more..

Swiatek is a very problematic opponent for Gauff. H2H is now 10-1 and Coco has won only two sets. Almost reminds one of Federer vs Roddick.

I'll not be particularly surprised if Collins beats Sabalenka.

I was trying to recall one such "rivalry", and could not come up with this one. Indeed, Coco is a very good player but nothing she does seem to bother Iga.
Could also be a Serena/Maria thing.

To beat Swiatek, you have to push her onto her back foot...only Rybakina has been able to do that consistently, and sometimes Sabalenka...Coco threw away the first set with dfs..had only 4 in the match, though, which is good
