Fitting first post for the continuation of @dry's original thread I think. Yolanda Adams singing Hallelujah at the Covid Memorial hosted by President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris as a nation at lasts tries to heal.

The change in tone from the abyss where we have been... I think I have minor whiplash... I will need some time to adjust to.... human.

Until I read it today, I had no idea at all that Plummer hated his role in the The Sound of Music. He sometimes referred to it as "The Sound of Mucus"... I'll beg to differ with him. :)

He gave interviews only with a prior consent of not being asked about that movie.
It made me like him even more (I am not into musicals...)
My god, it's full of stars!

What Plummer didn't like about the movie is that is not his voice. He had to mouth the words, and the dubbed someone else's voice instead. He was unhappy that he had gone to the effort to get a role in a musical so that he would be able to sing, and the be told to not sing and have someone else's voice used.

This week marks the 20th anniversary of the blockbuster debut album, Songs in A Minor, of Alicia Keys. Kind of doesn't seem like it's been 20 years, but also can barely remember when Alicia wasn't around wowing us with her immense talent. Fallin' was the lead single from that album.
