Re: 2024 AO Survivor Pool: ATP Picks and Results Summary
I've been playing these survivor pools since 2011, I don't think I've ever seen a pool end before an Updated thread was posted. Has to be a record for a pool to end before the 4th round has commenced. I thought the WTA pool would end before the ATP would.....who knew????

Re: 2024 AO Survivor Pool: ATP Picks and Results Summary
This SP has to go down with an asterisk:
Certainly most winners in one single pool
Shortest lived pool (most likely).
And remember, in a sense, there were no bandwagon crashes. Everybody was decimated in slow groups. It was not as if somebody got Gasquet'd or BVDZ'd and the pool was left with 3 players left one day.
It was a final day massacre.

WTA pool might have ended this early before. Also I believe we had 40+ winners one year with Henin at RG.

Someone pointed out on Twitter that the B3 format is more prone to upsets. And we have seen that.

Based on my predictions I likely would have been taking Alcaraz if SP was still on, so I'll consider myself lucky it ended when it did.
