Day 1 Pick Summary

Start 14

Machac 9
Zhang 2
Draper 1
Koepfer 1
Seyboth Wild 1

Start 14
Survivors 13
Dead 2
Unknown 0

Only 2 dead, this is a very good result for the group.

Comments:
Both Machac and Zhang are playing Wildcards, so there is an extra bit of unknown when trying to predict their outcomes.
Draper is playing Taro Daniel, who should be able to put up a fight, but Draper should still win.
I don't know enough about Koepfer to make any comments on his chances.
Seyboth Wild got in as a Lucky Loser. This is a brave pick.

Auger-Alissime 6
Munar 2
Bautista Agut 1
Djere 1
Monfils 1
Popyrin 1

Start 12
Survivors 10

Comments:
Should win: Auger Aliasime, Munar, Djere, and Popyrin.
Monfils has a fairly tough opponent for this round of the tournament. He should still win.
Bautista Agut: What were you thinking?

Only two dead, that is a pretty good day.
