Nope. Super busy and super messy week for me. And this morning I flew to Colorado to come pay taxes here, and fix my property.
So, will not be able to see one bit of the tournament.
Too bad....

Today's OoP.

MCOS won her match in straight sets.

I once picked COS in a SP a couple years ago just because I loved her name ..she rewarded my admiration by getting me knocked out of SP in the first round..

This is one tournament where being a local helps.
The crowd simply goes insane when Cami is playing. You have no idea of how partialized the TV commentating is. And, playing at 2,600 MOSL really affects your strokes. No amount of topspin will bring the ball down, and you really have to play with super flat strokes.
It works for me (I play just a few miles from the tournament's venue) because I never was able to put a lot of topspin on the ball, but for clay courters coming from sea level, this place is a nightmare.
