You think of Tommy as a volleyer? I think of him as a classic base liner. Maybe even a bit of a counterpuncher.

To be honest, I haven't been able to see much of him..I believe he likes to volley, whether he is good at it I don't know.

Swiatek's demolition of junk-ball specialists like ST is good to see..she is showing us all how to deal with them..we all have to, even at the club level!

He's an aggressive baseliner, and can finish points at the net, but he's not net rushing on every point.

Keys has had a bad year but pops into form to beat Coco in a tight three-setter.

Bublik was funny at the TC desk after beating Shelton. Said "who starts working at 11 am?" about this morning match. Prakash tried to help him by pointing out that he has to get up a lot earlier to prepare for an 11 a.m. match, and Bublik said, "Yeah, like 7." I mean, many, many people get up at 7 for work. Or earlier.

I enjoy Bublik very much.

Rafa gave a shirt to Cachin after Cachin said at the net, "You made my dream come true. Can you give me a shirt or a towel or something?"

The Daniil Medvedev show was live today.

This actually made me laugh. I usually don't find him funny.

This actually made me laugh. I usually don't find him funny.

If he were to make these comments in jest, with a bit of humor, they would be funny. But he makes them to put down the chair, or a lines person, or somebody. Which then, makes them unbearable.
He truly believes the world owes him something. Which is what puts me down.

The big 3 - Swiatek, sabalenka and rybakina, have really started pulling away from the pack now..Coco has a little distance to go, I think, before she makes it big 4....btw where is Pegula?

But wouldn't be surprised if Andreeva beats Sabalenka in the next round ..she is a much stronger player than she was last year..
