Cori may have peaked too soon. We'll see.

Sabalenka has not been so very convincing thus far..I don't think she will beat Coco..unless the 'bad Coco' comes to play..

Unless Sabalenka is also serving bombs... which then would be a terrific match. :)

Or Draper joins rather short list of players, who won multiple masters in the same year in post "Big 3" era.

In case you don't remember..in 2010 she won this tournament beating Henin and Venus, then was never heard of again (by me, at any rate)..I remember her mostly for her flashy game and even more flashy synthetic clothes..she was French, iranian origin

She unfortunately was coached by insane father who abused her and her boyfriend and would often physically attack people on opponent’s team.

Swiatek seemed unable to find her footing on this clay.. stumbling, unbalanced, slipping even. Is this clay different? The blue clay was slippery - this one isnt, is it? She did well enough last year.. I wonder if Swiatek's body has changed.. making balance more difficult for her..

I always feel Ruud is a bit over-rated, like Pegula.. he has yet to win a 1000 level event on any surface.. Draper seems more authentic as a Master's champion.. I would bet on him.
