Attending French Open Qualifying

#1

Post by atlpam »

Looking for information on how to attend qualifying at Roland Garros. We are expecting to be in Paris that week. Does it require tickets? Is there any special process to procure tickets? Do you need to purchase in advance or can we just show up on whatever day we choose?

Any additional info appreciated. This will be my first time visiting Paris.

Just seeing this. Hopefully by posting others will see it as well and can share what they know. I don't know anything about attending the French Open. But found this information about qualifying. Tickets are 70 Euros for adults and 35 Euros for 25 years old and under (25!). Sounds like that's the cost for a multi-day pass to attend Qualifying all week.

This is the main ticketing page - https://tickets.rolandgarros.com/en/gen ... rmations#9

And you should sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of the page so you can get info as it becomes available about getting tickets. General Public goes on sale March 15 and I've seen on Reddit it mentioned that tickets go quickly, not sure if that's true for Qualifying though.

Keep us posted on whether or not you're able to attend. Enjoy your trip to Paris!

Thanks Jazz - not sure if we’ll make it over one day or not since we only have 3.5 days in Paris, but want to keep the option open.

It's worth the half day at RG.
Matches start at 11:00 AM, and you can get three matches by 5PM. That time of year, sunset is late, so you will have plenty of time to do other things. Also, RG stadium is a wonderful place, and you will be not far from many attractions.
Do keep the option open.
