Yes, but I don't think it makes much sense too look now at all of Pegula's career. She was having a very mediocre one before 2021.

Win-loss percentage 2021-present 68% Pegula, 67% Gauff. Basically equal, also confirmed by very similar ranking in this time frame.

Today showed that Sabalenka has not yet exorcized the demons of beating herself.

That said - and it is valid -, Cirstea is going through a good patch now. I don't expect it to last, because she has been known throughout her career to be just as psychologically fragile as Sabalenka.

How can there possibly be any rain during the 'Sunshine Double'? :o

It doesn't look very good for tonight - rain is only supposed to let up around 11pm.
They might get one in, but playing both will be a challenge.

Don't worry, someone is likely filing a lawsuit over it. That's the American way.

I've heard now that the entire night session tonight has been cancelled.
I assume they'll update tomorrow's Order Of Play in the coming hours.

Seeing Eubanks play for the first time, and you know you are skinny when Medvedev looks like the buff one on court

We saw him play several years ago at the US Open and while he had an aggressive game we wondered if his physique would allow him to have a decent career. He's done better than we expected.
