And yet Patrick McEnroe kept saying how Muchova blazed through the first set. hah! A 17 minute game is blazing? A 43 minute set is blazing? Someone needs to buy him a watch! And he said it 3 or 4 times?! I was shouting shut up to my tv.
After I've woken up each morning- I try to remember to scream for Pat McEnroe to shut up, out there somewhere in the universe. It'll make you feel better.

I didn't expect Tiafoe to make the QF (or R16, etc.) So, these days, a solid result for him- albeit, CLEARLY, the draw was his friend.

I think we have named 4

Cilic-Nishikori USO 2014
Murray-Raonic Wimbledon 2016
Thiem-Zverev USO 2020
Alcaraz-Ruud USO 2022

What an insane stat.

The easiest job on earth. Being a Talking Head. They have their pre-set analogies and there is seldom any form of analysis from their side. So, if a set is 6-0, it was a trashing. Never mind everything you say. It was 6-0, and that is a fact. But that was a very odd 6-0 for all the other reasons you mention.
It is like they have preset narratives. Zverev cannot hit one double fault without everybody bringing up he fact that he is a "serial double faulter". Rune hits 12 DF in a match? Nah, no mention of that because the narrative on Rune is not that he double faults a lot (it is a different narrative).
