by dave g Great. Both of my survivor pool picks are the last match-of-the-day on their courts.

Maybe I ought to look at the order of play before making my picks.

by ponchi101 Mine are second to last. It will be a long day, indeed.

by ponchi101 Osaka seems to be in a bit of a dog fight. Bronzetti gained one break back in the third. Let's see how that one plays out.

by ponchi101 Tsurenko retired. She really does that with frequency.

Can almost bake that into any tournament she enters.

I turned on the TV with Osaka up 4-0 in the third set. Shen then lost five straight games (making a ton of errors), before winning the next three to take the match.

Ostapenko gave Christian a hug after their match!

Awww.... Ostapenko's dress is actually almost cute this time. The color blocking at the shoulders looks better than giant collars.

Iga is going to steamroll Naomi.

I did not pick her because I felt she was vulnerable today. And yes, she is going to get rolled (as in sushi roll) by Iga.

Bagel = 0
Bread Stick = 1
Sushi Roll = ???

by ponchi101 Just a dumb reference because she is Japanese and Megan used steamROLLED.
Don't mind me ;)

That dress reminded me of circus clowns outfits. Both the colors and the composition )

The skirt stripes are giving circus tent. And the color palette is very Sweet Tarts. But it's so much better than her last year's.

by mick1303 I was watching Dimitrov's highlights. His fh looks substantially beefier than it was before. Did he went for newer powerful frame?

by ponchi101 Found an article that he is endorsing the Wilson Pro Staff 97 V13, but is actually using the Pro Staff 97 with a custom string pattern of 18 x 17.
So it seems he is using his same racquet. Maybe lower tension?
