Carillo just said that Carlitos is arguing with the strategy his team gave him after leaving the court. Interesting.

Alcaraz is playing desperate tennis, to not great results.

Other than the He is Human thought....my theory is that Carlos losing that gold medal- VERY hopefully temporarily- destroyed his will to do what it takes to win matches. UGHHHHH, LOL, I do hate this. BUT, I guess that Carlos has had a pretty decent year.

Some Canadians hadn't even heard of him so never would have picked it :)

Carlitos goes into funks for a few weeks, every once in a while.
This is just bad timing. He will be back, soon.

It is YOUR fault, ponchi, YOUR fault. Ever since your unseemly public commentary about Carlos' acne, he has not been the same.

When Carlos pulls a Borg and runs away with his 4 Slam titles, silver medal and millions of dollars, never to be seen again on the tour, we will have only you to blame. :D

I should mark this post. Proof of guilt. ;)

And Rafa's Triple Crown achievement is now safe as being the last one who's done it. It is IMO the only significant achievement he has over Novak, that is not surface-specific.

It was painful to watch Hurkacz movement. He should've skipped post-Wimbledon and let his knee/hip heal properly.

Sorry. What triple crown that Novak has not achieved? The big three each won every slam. It is not something that Novak did not achieve.
If you don't mind expanding...

French Open - Wimbledon - US Open - only Laver, and Nadal have won those 3 in a row.
