I love it when it is the courts that decide about those issues.

Sure is better than when the score is settled out of court.

Re: '24 US Open Day 9 Order of Play& Discussion
Agree. But my understanding, from what was posted in the forum, was that the lady said she was doing this for justice. And then the court decided that the trial was not worth continuing, and the lady decided to accept some money and Zverev paid some fees.
I would have preferred for the trial to be taken to completion. If he had been proven guilty, for the book to have been thrown at him, both by the German courts and the professional associations. But the trial was inconclusive.
So, as was also said here, we will never now.
And we will find out what other courts decide in the Rothenberg trial.

To be clear, the fine he paid is $150K euros to the government and $50K to charities. Patea did not sue for or receive any money.

I'm no Zverev fan, but good lord, he has done pretty well for himself on the court with the worst forehand of any top player.
Don't see how he could be considered an underachiever. If he had a decent forehand, he would take more risks.

The winner will be decided in the Sinner - Medvedev QF. None of these men are going to be able to handle the opportunity in front of them

If Sinner keeps playing the way that he has in the first 4 rounds none of the other men will be able to handle his ground strokes.

First American grand slam finalist on the men’s side since the epic Federer/Roddick Wimbledon final in 2009, if my Wikipedia trolling is correct

I give both Tiafoe or Fritz a very good chance on Sunday. The crowd will be going wild if they can break serve first.
I may become old style Davis Cup.

If it will be Medvedev (which I consider much less likely) - he could be rattled by hostile crowd. Sinner - not so much.

Neither Fritz not Tiafoe is in the class of Sinner and Medvedev..I can't imagine the crowd making that much difference..in the US at least

I am not saying Sinner or Medvedev will be rattled. I am saying the American will be inspired.
Not quite the same.
