by mick1303 How deceptive is tv picture )) Rybakina looks like an Eiffel tower while Shevchenko - looks like an average guy. But put them next to each other and he is taller.
by ponchi101 Rybakina is tall for a woman. Shevchenko is not for a man. Maybe part of the illusion.
by mick1303 But she appears even taller due to being lanky
by JTContinental Zverev has pulled out of the United Cup with a bicep strain.
by ashkor87 Swiatek really impressive in her win over Muchova.. can she win the AO? depends on how quick the court is.. Muchova played well too, Swiatek simply too energetic and decisive.. good match
by mick1303 I always felt that Swiatek is very capable outside clay. It will not surprise me in the slightest, if she'll win Australian.
by ponchi101 She has a US Open and a YEC. Sure she is good enough.
by ashkor87 Looks like the US is going to win this ! A rare team win ..good job by Coco and Fritz!

It will surprise me a wee bit because I think the court is too fast for her..doesn't give her time to come forward...Ryba or Saba can push her onto her back foot..and she won't back off the baseline like Medvedev..
by ashkor87 Not surprised at Muchova easily beating Paolini, Muchova is a player of a different class, good though Paolini is...
by Suliso Swiatek beat Rybakina here on a fast court. Might be important.

Isn't that Muchova's game? She will come and destroy a couple of players. And then, one day, her shots are all landing 5 cms out. The same exact beautiful slice BH that was a winner the day before sails off just by a little. And she can't reign them in.
I love her game but, by now, she has to produce something of better magnitude. And at 28, I don't think she will.
by ashkor87 What she has done this far is good enough! But she seems to have stabilized, wll certainly do more

Saw the brief highlights...did the court look fast to you?,,didn't to me..on the highlights clip anyway
by Suliso Like AO they say, but who knows...
by JTContinental Speaking of Muchova, Gauff has yet to lose a set against her in 4 matchups. Her last two wins have been pretty comprehensive too.
Coco and Sabalenka are playing a higher caliber of tennis than anyone else right now.
by ashkor87 Coco very impressive in beating Swiatek ..I need to revise my AO probabilities! I had her even with Saba
by ponchi101 Especially seeing how Swiatek had her number. Indeed, a major step.
