The commentators are implying without saying that he might be faking something.
I had the sound off and watching him rolling around on the court in "agony" made me think Triple H should give him a call...

The Svitolina who played that third set hasn't been seen in a very, very long time. With Gaël's win over Fritz and Elina's win over Paolini GEMS rolls on.

I think it happened only twice previously in Open Era that married couple reached both at least R16 in their respective singles draws. 1984 US Open - Evert and Lloyd. And again at AO 1985/86.

Sorry, it actually was more with Evert-LLoyd. Actually in US Open 1983 John also reached 4th round, while Chris was in the final.

Monfils played an absolutely fabulous match. He was the better player for all of the second and third sets, the two I watched in their entirety, and should reach the semis if his body holds up.
I have seen a lot of him on the Australian swing and he is in the best form of his career somehow. His focus point in and point out is definitely stronger than ever before. It is a joy to watch.
Tien also is very fun to watch and will be a tough out.

I have not seen Moutet play before, but he is extremely obnoxious.
He is one of the most disagreeable players ever. He should marry Siegemund and their children would be abominable.

At one point, Moutet hit a serve and then very dramatically fell to the ground writhing in pain and clutching his hip, and I swear he stopped performing for one second to make sure everyone was watching.
In the meantime, Learner Tien is legit. I think he'll be the top ranked US man in the next year or two.
