There is certainly something odd about this tournament..Federer has won it twice (plus once on hard), Kvitova 3 times! All Wimbledon champions...of course, Nadal has 4, djokovic 3..

Why would you want the draw not to be random that way? Slippery slope if you start manpulating the draw this way...

Imagine years ago if say they intentionally were putting Serena and Venus on opposite halfs for example.

That's still draw manipulation, even if it is just for "first round."

if it they start with that, then they can easily say "let's not make these people play each other either."

I think it would be a bad idea. Already as it is enough people have said draws are rigged.

Besides, no guarantee they get to play each other if it's not in first round anyway!
