Her career winning percentage on grass is far better than her winning percentage on clay or hard courts.
the facts are as you say.. it is just that she has a great serve, and a huge forehand.. always useful on grass.. but I have never thought of her as a threat at Wimbledon (though I like her, am quite a fan)- I have seen her in person, last year at W, and was not impressed with her movement and service return.. Alexandrova, for instance, is much better at that.

Medvedev showed exactly why he is in a massive slump today in his loss to Opelka.

He actually played quite well for almost the entire match. Opelka, who got in as a lucky loser, served tremendously but was more than just a servebot, hitting some massive forehands, including the one that gave him the first-set tiebreak. Medvedev had three break points and did not have a play on any of them because of Opelka's serve.

But after Medvedev got up 4-1 in the second-set tiebreak, he imploded on his serve. At 4-3, he hit back-to-back double faults when the second serve was at least five feet long both times. He won a point on Opelka's serve, but at 5-6, he double faulted into the net on a serve that looked like it aso would have been wide if it had gone over. He had no issued with his serve until then.

Then again, he was not the only one with those issues today. I just watched Lehecka serve four double faults out of five points while getting broken for the match against Shelton. Pitiful.

The fact that somebody is not a threat at a slam does not mean they are bad in that surface. It may be their best surface, but they are only good enough for a QF here and there.

As I said, she is one of my favorite players, just not on a fast surface
