People that survive both picks on any given day and come to the lounge to let us zombies know, get our special tea: Cream and sugar optional.texasniteowl wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 8:33 pm I need a celebratory drink! Stat! I survived both sides of Day 1! Whoo-hoo! (Vekic & Brooksby!)

All I really dare to say now
is that after (many) years of advocating against picking against French players, especially at RG, I picked Nuno Borges... Who is playing a final set against Jacquet as we speak. I had other options. There is, possibly, something wrong with me

Not so much a loser as an "oops I forgot to picker". Barkeep let me chase the Green Fairy. Absinthe for me.

Was one set away from being double cheeked on the first day without winning a set, but Borges rallied from two sets down to win. I've been out multiple times in both pools in the first round, but I don't recall it happening on the first day.

Double cheeked after answering the siren call of Machac's thighs.

Sure, soothing, relaxing, Matcha tea. We have that: So you can ponder and meditate about the wise decisions all of us here have made, and find new ways to...joanjettson wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 12:42 pm Double cheeked after answering the siren call of Machac's thighs.

At the AO, I picked Sakkari and Osorio took me out. At RG, I picked Osorio and Aranxta Rus has just taken me (and 6 others I believe) out. Long story short, I'm not picking Rus at Wimbledon and will happily have a latte macchiato prior to making my day 3 ATP pick. I have no further ambitions than week 2 at this point.

Nah, C'mon. You are Dutch. Rus is Dutch. She is pretty, and you should be happy for her.Oploskoffie wrote: ↑Mon May 26, 2025 7:00 pm At the AO, I picked Sakkari and Osorio took me out. And you Dutch have some truly ghastly concoctions.
I found this: I believe that one way of taking out a bad taste from your mouth is with something even worse. Let me know if I succeeded...

I’m just proud that i remembered that this is a slam that starts on Sunday. In the last couple of years, i’ve missed a few contests altogether because of forgetting to enter in time. So anything from now is icong on the cake. GH

In here due to the dreaded no pick! Double-cheeked by my memory. Is there a drink that helps one's memory?
