So great to see the Queen of tennis back on court!!

After falling down 1-3 early, Vee/Baptiste won 11 of the last 12 games to beat Bouchard/Ngounoue 6-3, 6-1. Not the stiffest of competition out there, but Venus was the best player on the court.

I caught the end of the match. It was great seeing a full house and Venus doing her patented twirl.

I hope you are right, but I say Elena's days as a challenger at every tournament are over. She had that "by now common" period in which she was playing top level tennis (W and that Aussie final) but she has come down a lot.
I hope she makes me eat my words, though.

I'm hoping as she matures she will ditch Stefano Vukov and his cycle of abuse, and I think we'll see better results consistently.
