The 2026 SAG Actor Awards, fka the Screen Actors Guild Awards, are on Netflix for the first time, and as red carpet host Paige DeSorbo (Summer House) reminded us on the Actor Awards carpet, it does feel meaningful when an awards show has actors voting for other actors.

That's definitely the case with the Actor Awards, which are chosen by members of the Screen Actors Guild. The Pitt's Noah Wyle joked that the Actor Awards feel like a bit like a “union meeting.”

The details: Kristen Bell is hosting the celebratory evening on Sunday, March 1, 2026, and the list of nominees is stacked. Expect big wins from this season's favorites like Timothé Chalamet, One Battle After Another, and Kpop Demon Hunters. Other nominees include Owen Cooper for Adolescence, Jenna Ortega for Wednesday, Ariana Grande for Wicked: For Good, Odessa A'zion for Marty Supreme, and the ensemble casts of Abbott Elementary and The Pitt.

Plus there will be plenty of fun celebrity sightings, from Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie, fresh of Saturday Night Live, to fun celeb couples like Iris Apatow and Sam Nivola. And, you know, a ton of Netflix actors given the platform—Bridgerton star Yerin Ha actually announced the first couple Actor Awards winners live from the red carpet.
