Wow, double checked on Day 7 with Rublev and Keys. Crazy, did not see that coming. Both don't exactly have a B game, so that was a risk.
Going to cheer on my Skan team now.

I'm going into tomorrow with 7 players to choose from, and I kind of wish I had less of a choice.

I'll trade you. You want my Jabeur pick? That thing is going to blow up in my face badly.

the courts are playing quite slow.. it would be wise not to discount hard court and even clay court results..

My day 8 pick, Kerber, is based on the assumption that Barty will beat her in the semis and go on to win the title.. we shall see..!

While you are taking your day off, two of you will be contemplating why you already picked 3 out of the 4 semifinalists

now I have to choose between Pliskova and Sabalenka, neither of whom I like in these conditions.. but the conditions are slower than usual, so maybe I had better like one of them, but which one?!

My spidey sense says Sabalenka is going to take a lot of people out tomorrow--I feel she's either going to crash out to the lead balloon that is Karolina Pliskova or win the whole thing.
