Sloane should be the favorite, although she has been off the court for a while and was, certainly, busy with her wedding. But I don't see how Emma turns her latest losing streak around.

Giorgi (my pick) is through, but not without a typical Giorgi stretch.
Up 6-2, 5-2, she proceeded to lose four games in a row with a slew of double faults and first-ball errors and fall behind 0-30 at 5-6 before playing three excellent points (and getting one bad return error from Martincova) to hold and racing through the tiebreak.

Raducanu did a great job of stepping in and accelerating the pace..good to see..too many UFE from Sloane in the third set though..lack of match practice, probably
