Pegula said Saba is moving much better these days, and is mixing it up well with slice..when it gets close, she raises her game...

Explain to me what do you mean by demons in her mind. She has reached the finals of the big three tournaments of the first quarter of the year. She won two slams last year. She has not been "crushed" in any match, and her issues with her serve were taken care of a while back.ashkor87 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 1:52 am Resounding win for Sabalenka...seems to have banished the demons from her mind...I am hopeful she will win W this year ..she has always done well but never quite made it..on clay, i would still expect Swiatek to beat her..of course, when you are one of the 3 best in a given tournament, you always have a shot, and she does.
She has been playing solid tennis and is the clear #1. If there is anybody with demons, and they are tiny, is Iga, who has not won anything since RG. But now goes back to her beloved clay.
Yes, I say this year she should be the slight favorite at W.

That was a tremendously entertaining match between Mensik and Djokovic.
Mensik deserved to win and played both tiebreaks better than Djokovic, who served incredibly well in the first set and still lost it.
