Count 2 was based on the testimony of the "weakest link" so to speak. I think that's the one they said couldn't be counted as trafficking.

Thanks Fastbackss. Most of the legal commentary post conviction has been about what Mr. Honig is talking about in his posts. I keep going back to her arrogant response to Judge Nathan when she asked her if she wanted to testify. I'm paraphrasing but she basically said "you people haven't proven anything so there's no need for me to testify". If the jury had heard that I doubt it would've taken six days of deliberation to come back with their verdict.

Is she daring someone to come after her or asking someone to come after her if she doesn't flip. She doesn't seem like the type to go into witsec so I agree with Honig that "it depends". I mean what does she get other than witness protection? And we know the folks she's assumedly protecting have a long reach.

That's just my non professional legal opinion.

The criticism that I've heard about the BBC for the past few years - since the Brexit debate began in earnest leading up the referendum - is that they try too hard to get both sides on the air. This seems like a perfect example of when trying to do so - let's let the relative of convicted sex trafficker on the air to defend their relative - goes too far.
