Swiatek jumps back to #4 in the rankings with her result in Bad Homburg - her first final since Roland Garros 2024.

Few more things we can with some confidence (WTA):
- Andreeva at career high 3-5 unless she loses the next match and either Anisimova or Navarro wins the title
- Anisimova #10 in live rankings, but likely need another win to guarantee her debut
- Tauson to debut in the top 20 unless we have a surprise winner/finalist from further down
- Bencic, now up to #26, will for sure be seeded at USO
- Jessica Bouzas Maneiro joins the top 50
- Solana Sierra at career high #65 only two weeks after reaching the top 100
- Laura Siegemund back in the top 100
This is only about players still alive in the tournament.

Sierra reaching #65 means she no longer will pay for any meal at any restaurant in Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata (her hometown) for the foreseeable future.

I've never seen her play... Does she have a potential for significantly more?

Don't think so. She is solid, but, for example, Boulter should really be grinding her teeth.
She may be a new version of Nadia Podoroska. One and done is not unthinkable.

Bouzas Maneiro is the one who surprises me..I thought nothing of her, until I cursed her for knocking off Boujter in the USO and me from the SP. Here, she has gone much further than I expected, at W

Sinner is still about 1500 points behind Alcaraz in the race, but I expect him to easily make it up over his favorite part of the season.
Swiatek also 1500 points behind Sabalenka, but in this case I expect Aryna to hold on.

Aryna is defending USO points. I say that by the end of the year, Iga is back at #1. I will bet three dog chewed balls on that.

BTW, next week Sinner will clear two ranking milestones at once. Now at 58 weeks at #1 he shares ##12-13 with Jim Courier on the all time list. Next week he'll be in sole possession of #12. With the same 58 weeks he shares ##7-8 with John McEnroe on the list of uninterrupted runs. And the same way - next week he'll be the only one at #7.

I think you didn't read my post
I was talking about the race not rankings...
