The US military in S. Korea has issued a statement to say a report that some "Chinese spies" were captured at an election watchdog facility by the US and South Korean authorities during last month's martial law is "entirely false." (1/2)

Such unsubstantiated allegations of election fraud keep spreading among Yoon's hardline base and have been amplified by Yoon himself who has repeatedly defended his short-lived martial law by arguing that he did so to discover rampant election fraud in South Korea without citing evidence. (2/2)

UK warns Putin after Russian spy ship seen near British waters

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqjv7qgpw28o

Unfortunately, this was not the first time, by far. Even years before their invasion of Ukraine, Russia was 'messing about' in and over the Baltic Sea as well as in parts of the North Sea. Back in 2014 Swedish forces went on the hunt for a possible Russian submarine near Stockholm.

This past year and the last couple of months especially, things have gotten progressively more suspect, with undersea data and power cables being cut by dragging anchors across the seafloor. Security services on both sides of the Atlantic have tried to defuse the situation by calling these incidents accidents, yet the simple fact that one anchor was dragged for over 100 miles should be food for thought at least. Nevermind an increase in suspicious fires, unknown drones over German airbases, rumored assassination attempts on business execs and DDoS attacks on various institutions, most recently in the Netherlands.

Russians are your enemies whether you want it or not... Or at least under the current government they are.

I like the coincidence that somebody waved a flag exactly at the moment of the picture, and Elon has an Adolf's moustache.
He is very open about where he stands. So, if people continue to buy Tesla's, and contract Space X, it is not as if he is deceiving anybody.

Who else can one contract besides SpaceX? A bit of a problem there...

A huge fight between US and Colombia now. What a genius move from Trump.

Indeed. If anybody ever had thought about the problems with monopolies...
Seriously speaking here. This guy, who you have to admit, is not completely sold on democracies and the rule of law, holds this combination:
TWT + Starlink (which is an independent constellation and ISP) + SpaceX
Meaning that if somebody wants to launch a space-based ISP Elon will simply say no.
And he is not a benevolent person. I say that is too much power in one pair of hands. But there is nothing that can be done, especially with his hold on Tiny.

To be fair he didn't say no to Bezzos. Might change now, but would be a dangerous move. His monopoly is only based on technology not law.

When Trump imposes tariffs on Colombian coffee, Colombian flowers, Colombian bananas and pineapples and avocados, on Colombian oil, it's us Americans who will pay those added costs. We're not even a week into Trump's term and he's already imposed a brand new tax on all of us.

"The United States was involved in a trade war in 1930 due to the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. This act raised tariffs on imported goods, which led to other countries retaliating with their own tariffs. The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act is often cited as one of the main causes of the Great Depression"
