He gets a tired Zverev, whom he has dominated as of late, and the winner of Bublik/FAA. I say Bublik is the only one with a chance, if his drop shot is working almost perfectly.

some odd results yesterday.. until you remember the court is much slower this year.. Bublik over DeMinaur, Zverev over Medvedev..

highlights of Shelton -Sinner: Sinner seemd to be trying to draw Shelton in, with short balls, so he can take a shot at passing him.. worked well, mostly.. am a bit surprised.

I don't keep this stat, but I have a feeling that Bublik this season is behind only Alcaraz and Sinner in wins against top 10.

He did lose today, though. FAA can secure his YEC spot with a win tomorrow. If not he'll need to play next week.

Felix will lose his spot only if Musetti wins the whole event in Athens.

I know it is a spectacular shot.
But the chances of winning the point by hitting a tweener must be in the 1% range. Zverev just hit one that was going to land in, but Sinner was all over the net. Easy put away.
Go around it, and with your best side, hit a counter lob. Go deep, and try to push the opponent out of the net. It is a better plan.
Anyway, this match is over. Zverev simply has no gas today, after yesterday's three setter.

Sinner completely destroyed him. Has Zverev ever lost a match 0&1?

Zverev had nothing in the tank. Not telling us much, but Zverev really will like this next week off.

I saw the Zverev-Medvedev match. It was pretty brutal. Add to it that in order to play against Sinner you need 100%, and this is, at least, explainable.
Also, he played the last match of the day, and Jannik almost had nothing more than a training session.
Not that he should feel any good about this trashing, but somebody should tell him not to take it that hard.

From the highlights I watched, Zverev had no legs. Translated to looking like he hadn't played a match in months.
