I believe those who created and enforced those Orwellian "rules" will be eventually brought to justice.
Vaccine requirements in order to get entry into another country in which you neither a citizen or permanent resident are not unique to COVID, and are enforced by many countries around the world for many years. Under what authority would those officials be prosecuted, and what laws did they violate?

I'm referring to the climate that was created towards own citizens, when people were thrown to the ground and detained by police for not wearing masks IN THE OPEN AIR. When I said that someone has to be brought to justice, I was referring to these facts.
This created a public perception that foreigners are getting preferential treatment. Then some politicians used this as a publicity stint to gain popularity. Djokovic was caught in between. Your wording "he thinks rules don’t apply to him" demonstrates that you hated him to begin with and were just looking for excuse to say something derogatory. Djokovic was invited by Australian Open organisers and promised the exemption will be made. Why was it unreasonable on his part to believe the side that invited him?

Because they aren't government officials and don't have any say in who can and cannot enter the country. The government officials told him upfront no vax, no entry.
Hate is a strong word, but I often see what I consider morally objectionable behavior on his part. I don't think that's a huge secret here.

In January 2022, then-Immigration Minister Alex Hawke exercised his authority to cancel Novak Djokovic's visa on public health grounds, leading to Djokovic's deportation from Australia.
In the subsequent federal election held on May 21, 2022, the Liberal-National Coalition government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, was defeated by the Australian Labor Party (ALP), resulting in a change of government.
The ALP's victory led to a new administration, with Anthony Albanese becoming Prime Minister.
Consequently, Hawke and other officials from the previous government did not retain their ministerial positions in the new government.

What I find "morally objectionable" is accepting Djokovic's money a year prior to Australia relief fund and then next year making him a scapegoat in own political games.

Djokovic repeatedly lied about his travel history and COVID exposure, not only for Australia. He is recorded as going to children's events after COVID exposure, endangering the health of others. I did like him before this and the lunch with the warlord, now I just like his tennis.

Uhm... democracy at work? People vote, new governments are sworn in, the previous officials yield to the new ones?
Recent comedy sketch I saw. British comedian. To the crowd:
"Do you think that we went too far with the measures taken during the Covid epidemic?"
Crowd replies, half heartedly: "YES!"
Comedian: "I wonder what the millions of people that died of Covid think."

It was proven many times that the statistics were rigged. Elderly people with multiple OTHER health issues were counted as "died from COVID".

No that has not been proven many times, but people, particularly the elderly, rarely die of one single cause, and so multiple causes will be listed on a death certificate. It doesn't negate the impact of COVID on someone's health, and death if they also had cancer, or heart disease.
