Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
Remember, you are allowed to search to confirm you guesses. You could quickly look it up - Nadal has the most win over #1, the second is Becker who is not even on the given list.

Also the ranking itself did not exist through the whole Open Era. My hint #2 says that this stat we are discussing shall be applied to the whole Open Era without asterisks.

Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
Given list does not have Connors, Sampras and Mac, but has Cilic and Ferrer - each with "measly" 6 semis appearances in slams. Come on now...

Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
I said "applicable to the whole Open Era". It basically disqualifies all the stats, related to TMS/AP1000, which started in 1990.

Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
I did not call my question "quirky" for nothing. The answer requires a bit of unconventional thinking. The data is readily available - not hard to find. It just rarely (if ever) was used in a way I'm asking to use it here.

Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
I was thinking most breakpoints converted (likelier to be tracked) at a slam. Couldn't find data.

I don't believe such stats are available for early Open Era.

Re: The Tennis Trivia Questions Thread...
IMO this is an example of an obscure stat. This is not what I had in mind. Although, come to think of it - could be an interesting list.

This is not the answer, but you are starting to think in a right direction. In a broad sense ))

Most matches won after the opponent served for the match.
Which I know it is not because I did the search and the data are not readily available.
