Electronic line calling failures have been piling up, including one moment in Cincinnati where video review had to be used to determine if a ball had landed in or out.
This technology is not only not what it's cracked up to be: it's cracking.

Agree. The experiment has been a total success. It has told us that the review system is not accurate enough to replace line judges completely. So, bring them back and, if there is a dubious call, you can invoke the electronic system.
The problem now will be for the players, that know the system is not reliable. if a line judge gets the wrong call, and the system gets the wrong call (from the point of view of the player), how can they be sure they were not simply screwed twice?
And I said just a couple of days ago. Sooner or later, it was bound to happen on a big point: set point or match point.
Well, it was really soon.

Sinner has a rather poor first serve percentage ..he ranks 57th on that metric..doesn't seem to hurt him, though, because his second serve is really good..even at RG I thought he won more points on second serve than on first ...wonder what that means!

Well, he has obviously never depended on his serve to win.

Coco's dfs are just too many nowadays..i believe dfs are mainly mental..like missing a free throw.

Maybe the mental part is indeed there. If you don't swing that arm freely, the ball will not go over.
But I do believe that her grip is a problem. She cannot brush the ball well enough.
Notice how Sabalenka dealt with her DF issues. Her coach, brilliantly, told her that it was her motion. That way, he obscured the fact that it was mental, and taught her a new motion, which in reality was the same but with a slightly more Eastern BH grip.
Heck, teach Coco a slice. It works well on 2nd serves.

It was mentioned in the tournament thread but those fans taking their sweet time to find seats they felt were appropriate to their status totally distracted Cori. The minute I saw her go wild and wide eyed I felt Paolini won the match.
Tennis needs to go back to the way it used to be when play was taking place. Fans had to wait until the break to re enter the court and return to or find their seats. I feel it's very distracting when Edna is asking Abner, loudly, if these are their seats when a player is trying to concentrate.

When it comes to sports photography tennis does have some of the best.
