I gather just based on the rankings showed above. Please explain why you say the numbers are not correct. I am curious.
We still talk about tennis. And much more.

Federer - 2006.01.30 - 4 is not correct - 5 players listed that have won majors are Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Gaudio, Agassi
Jovic having 10 times more chances... Uhm. I saw her recently and I think she will run into the same problem as Navarro, Raducanu and Leylah. Lack of size. That one is a killer.ashkor87 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 12:54 pm Saw a comment by Kafelnikov that Andreeva is not yet ready to win a major - i usually have no time for him but he made a couple of observations that are in line with my own observations..
1. Andreeva doesnt generate her own power, she finds it difficult to do well on slow courts (what about IW then?)
2. Her backhand is great but forehand lacks finishing power - when pressed, she tends to slice and try strange dropshots
3. Kafelnikov also says Jovic has ten times more chances of winning a major than Andreeva does.
I suppose he meant GS champs other than themselves. The Murray observation is a good one, too.skatingfan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 2:16 pmFederer - 2006.01.30 - 4 is not correct - 5 players listed that have won majors are Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Gaudio, Agassi
Nadal - 2010.06.07 - 6 is not correct - Murray had not won a major at this point in time - Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, Roddick, del Potro - Murray's first major was the 2012 US Open
Djokovic - 2014.07.07 - 5 is not correct - not sure who you didn't count this time, but the 6 major winners are Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Wawrinka (won the Australian Open in January 2014), del Potro, Murray
Alcaraz - 2026.02.02 - 2 is not correct - 3 major winners - Alcaraz, Sinner, Djokovic are major champions.
Lack of size nothwithstanding, Jovic has a better base game than any of those players. While 10 times the chance is a bit of hyperbole from Kafelnikov, ultimately I think Jovic will have a solid career and not just one season of good results like Navarro, Fernandez, and Raducanu.ponchi101 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 2:55 pmJovic having 10 times more chances...
