Problem is that the results of this game will affect seeding by a lot. It affects just not these two teams. KC can be affected, Baltimore completely.

Possible confirmation of what someone said about what caused his heart to stop.

Even horse racing Twitter was ablaze with Damar's injury last night. Of course, everyone agreed that the delay in stopping the game was unacceptable and tone deaf. It never should have been up to the head coaches to do the right thing.

But as is always the case, the weirdos were out, too. One guy immediately tweeted about the potential playoff implications of this injury. He rightfully got hammered for that. And of course, there was the tweet from someone else saying we can expect more of this because the government tried to force COVID vaccines on the American people.

If Damar survives this, I hope he can recover fully or close to fully and have a good quality of life. That's the part that worries me. I'm just not sure how long it took to get his heart going again and how long his brain wasn't getting oxygen. There's a big difference between 3 minutes without oxygen to the brain and, say, 5 minutes without oxygen to the brain in terms of potentially permanent and poor outcomes.

But in general, the global sports world united last night around Damar. And 99% of it was really heartwarming to see.
