Yes, folks like Raducanu, Paolini, Gauff, Swiatek, are too quick, reach a lot of balls..drop shots don't work well against them unless they are very well disguised and really short..

I had not heard of it until they said she had won 15 in a row right before the deciding tiebreak. She is 17-1 for the year.

Not that I am a fan of Pegula's but she was my benchmark...always to be relied on to beat lesser players..now I can't rely on her any more!

What's that cliche statement about the tour catching up with her? She hasn't played badly from what I've seen but like many of you have said she doesn't have a "kill" shot that she can use during crunch time. I agree that she was (is?) a benchmark a player had to defeat to make a deep run but now she's just one of the pack.
