For how many years ESPN has inexplicably allowed Chris Fowler to call tennis matches you would think that he would have learned something about how the game is played, but he has not.

I have to amend this statement to say that the announcer in the match I'm watching (Stephens/Minnen) is indeed not Chris Fowler, but an ignorant soundalike.

Injured. I think it was the thigh. He got treatment for it after the second. He limped off the court. Very unfortunate because he was giving Carlitos all he could handle.

Kalinina is legit, so I was staying away from it, but I did pick Kvitova in the SP today just in case, as they were potential R64 opponents.

I went with thigh (we couldn't hear his conversation with the trainer) because Baez is super fit, and I just don't see any way someone with his level of fitness it going to cramp after two sets.

BTW, did anyone else notice when Baez changed shirts? The dude's entire upper body is surprisingly thick. So much so that it looked like the waistband of his shorts was about 4 sizes too small.
