Going into the semifinals we are down to only three people with a pick: Alvinlimtc, jumpfroggy, and SMC_mom. As it turns out, they all have only "Djokovic" as their remaining pick. So, if Djokovic loses, they are all out, but still with the survivor draw pool as being the last people alive. If Djokovic wins, they all advance to the final without any remaining picks; so they still win by being the last players alive. No one actually beats the draw, but those three win the survivor pool, whether of not Djokovic wins.

IF I am understanding all of this correctly now, and as dave g stated- if Novak wins, Tommy's out, so no Tommy pick would be possible, and you 3 are done. If Tommy wins- your Novak picks were incorrect, meaning that you 3 are "done". Tommy still being in the tournament is irrelevant for your ATP Pools. Tommy is not a possible pick for any of you. But, either way, you all three win, with no picks left.

But somebody could have picked Tommy and, if the miracle would happen, win it all alone.
Which would be, indeed, miraculous.

AH, I get it, Alvinlimtc's post was put in before the deadline for getting picks in for today. Never mind. (I blame the lack of my "beauty" sleep for the past two weeks.) :gorgeous:

Not any more. (typed after the semifinal) And you could not use both Tommy Paul and Novak Djokovic picks.

Thanks ! And thanks dave g for running it.
BTW, we all used our Paul pick on Wednesday! Djokovic was the only pick left.
All 6 remaining "prisoners" maximized their chances to win the pool with that Paul pick. The three with Djokovic left made it through the Semis, the three without Novak needed Shelton to win to end the pool (no more picks left for anyone then). Two of them had the Shelton pick available but picking Paul gave them two opportunities to win: 1) Shelton wins (and all 6 players are done and win the pool) 2) Paul wins and Novak loses.
Going back one more round, Patrick and chaitumsc had a good chance to beat the draw, if Korda would have won.
