Re: The Chris Eubanks is Washed Up Thread
At 27 yo, to see Eubanks becoming a regular winner at tour level is difficult.
But, anyway. He got a lot of points, got a lot of money, will be able to enter the next four slams directly. Not a bad two weeks at all

I think he could have a few Top 50 years. Maybe a Top 20. The game is for real. You don't?

WHEN the shots land it, he has wonderful strokes. I said the BH is s gorgeous sshot, although a bit irregular.
It is just the previous history. Somebody coming into the top 20 and establishing himself there at that age would be truly unprecedented.

Re: The Chris Eubanks is Washed Up Thread
I am skeptical.
He hit some incredible shots but he had long stretches of ineptitude returning serve. Against Medvedev he won two points in the 4th set.
His serve speed tops out in the 120s and is more effective on grass than anything else.

It's been a month since he won a match!
Oh wait, he hasn't played one.
(Shanghai is a long way to go for first match since us open)
