OK, let's forget about any Iga snark for the moment. I mean.....Jessica?!??! (But, HEY, at least Jessica won't have to worry about the horrible pressure of trying to make a Slam SF. :gorgeous:

It's win the tournament or bust for Keys.

It does amaze me how many people refuse to recognize how incredibly good she is when she is in form. Obviously she's been injury prone and unable to maintain a top level for several years now, but she absolutely is capable of beating anyone on a hard court, and doing it on a big stage. That should not even be up for debate. I still question whether she's won enough this year to really believe in herself for three more matches--all of which will be imminently losable--but I can't wait to find out.

Her talent and top level isn’t up for debate. But she has floundered in big moments.

Pegula was listless out there - very low energy.

I have said it. The serve is a beauty, the FH is amazing, the BH is solid, she can volley. Sure, her footwork is not the speediest, but it is not on the "ugly" side of what we have out there.

Rublev/Draper is interesting. Rublev is 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 2 all in the fourth.

BTW Arnaldi fought as hard as he could but his top level was Carlitos mid level. The result was NID.

Rublev takes it 6-4 in the fourth set.

The same game plan from Rublev as always. He will not be able to beat Daniil, as always.
