all 8 are Europeans! and all whites. not a good look for diversity,is it? 3 of them have Russian names, and are of Russian origin.

Same whiteness in 2017, 2020, 2021.... I see ethnic diversity here. And doubles will be more diverse.

Tsitsipas has a Russian mother. As for diversity everyone is welcome to compete and they do, but hard to overcome various advantages we have on this continent.

Casual Friday? Remember when they used to wear suits? Is Tsitsipas in a poncho?? And did Zverev cut his hair or is it in a ponytail??

The Turin court is fast, one of the few remaining...I don't expect Tsitsipas and Zverev to go well here ...Sinner, Medvedev and Djokovic would be my picks, in that order .Alcaraz has not been playing well but his exceptional foot speed will help him ..

I'm not sure we can draw a conclusion from this. It's a moment in time. But it could be that the men in most countries have more options for sports and many go elsewhere, while for women, tennis is one of the best options. If it's a trend, it's interesting. The ATP Finals this year still has 7 countries represented. The WTA has been heavy on Russians in the past.

I find it more concerning that the USA has no one there (it has happened before, we know). Like it or not, the USA is too important a market not to be represented.
