Kostyuk vs Swiatek ..seems a good test for both. Kostyuk has the game to beat Swiatek here but does she have the class? She was always touted as a future champion, by no less than Osaka.

There are reports that Djokovic won't play Miami but so far no change to entry lists.

Apparently the people of Indian Wells need winter weather gear - sad to see people in the stands having to wear socks on their hands to stay warm - should we start a clothing drive?

Navarro's run comes to an end. Shame, this was a winnable match vs Sakkari. The wind was awful, but Emma also let up on the aggression in the second set. And made a few too many errors. David Witt already paying off with Sakkari.

Very conventional results this time. No drama at all... Really looking forward to Sinner vs Alcaraz (h2h 4-4). Sinner has been playing better the last half a year, but slow hard courts favor Alcaraz.

Sakkari says Witt has taught her to step in more on the return and has worked on some fixes to her toss..if anyone actually saw the match, did you see the change?

I thought they would be a semifinal but they are on track to play in the final. My bad. It’s Sinner-Paul and Alcaraz-Medvedev.

I didn’t notice those things - too advanced for me. I noticed he kept telling her where to serve.

She was pretty aggressive. And come to think of it, was returning close in.

saw a bit of the highlights.. very impressed with Sakkari's willingness to come to the net - will serve her well against Coco, especially given that Coco doesnt always keep the ball down on the forehand side.. Coco does have a great lob, though, so...

I found the Sakkari/Navarro match kinda bland. I feel most of the top 10 could have blown through either of them in that match. The commentating didn't feel like it was matching up with what I was watching.
