I get the Pegula votes but I wonder if she is recovered from that neck injury ...and no match practice..I don't think she is the kind of high-talent player who can do without matches ..

But she is one of two Cat A players that will play this week so, what are you gong to do? Save Iga for... IW?
A forced trade, really.

You don't have to keep quiet. We are here to talk about tennis, remember? ;)
And I know IW is not part of the series. That was the point. Those of us with trades available had very few options, and Jessie was one of them.

Thank you! My point is, Cat A haven't always done well, except Ryba and Iga. I fully expect this (weak) tournament to be won by a 'lesser' player ..which one,I don't know!

exactly the problem. let's look at the 1 seed for both tournaments. Pegula & Kalinina. well...I have more confidence in Pegula holding her spot more than Kalinina, but you never really know. The 2 seeds in the tournaments are Haddad Maia and Stephens. Again, a toss up on which you trust more. In theory, Stephens could turn things on and win...but will she? Especially in Austin, anyone could win.

In the end, I went with Pegula & Stephens (and a 3rd trade I added Collins).

But given the craziness of the WTA, I might earn 0 points as easily as I might earn 70 or 100.
