My candidates would be, in order- Shelton, Michelsen, Marozsan...Medvedev and Zverev have hit their peak ...they won't challenge Sinner and Alcaraz...

Marozan is already 24 - he might end up having a very successful career, but I don't think he'll challenge for majors.

I think he will, but not all the time. :)

There are some promising 18 and 19 year olds, but I can't judge yet whether they have that kind of potential. Rune and Ruud do not seem to be good enough.

I still give Ruud a chance on clay - he has been to the FO final the past 2 years losing to Djokovic (2023) and Nadal (2022).

I don't think she should. Better to go out on top than slowly fade into irrevelance.

Make as much bank and then move on. I hope she makes the most she's made in a year and can, financially unburdened, pursue whatever else she's interested in.

So far Dimitrov has no real chance. I don't think Zverev would have fared any better.

I can think of only one other player than went out winning a big tournament, and that his last stroke was a winner.

Love you Danielle, but go out with a bang. The memory will be so satisfying.
