Sinner 6-1, 6-2 in 69m.
There was a 30+ shot rally between the two in the second set that Medvedev seemed to get bored with and ended. Despite his seeming to wake up towards the end of the second set it was too little too late.

Wow, Sinner completely crushed Medvedev. I didn't expect it to be this easy.
For now he has repeated 2023 results (SF, F). Let's see if he can improve on that. If he can he rises to #2 for the first time.

It is impressive how Sinner has turned around that match up. Shades of Roger Vs Nalbandian/Hewitt, and Pete Vs Chang.

It will be Sinner vs Alcaraz for Slam titles, but there is a room for a third future multi Slam winner. I don't have a good candidate, though. Perhaps only in 2-3 years.

Dimitrov hasn't fallen off in level from the other night.
Just broke Zverev midway through third. Up 5-3 now and firing forehand winners

Ps - fun stat they showed - Dimitrov hadn't won against Zverev since Alex was 17

That was a gorgeous match between Zverev and Dimitrov. Grigor almost doubled his winners Vs UE count.
I say he goes out as the unfavored player, but I do give him a chance. He is playing very solid tennis (the match against Alcaraz was also very good).
@Suliso. Yep. Carlitos and Sinner. Medvedev will be in the mix for hard court slams for a few more years. So will be Zverev. But I also can't see if there will be a third solid option for multiple slams on the near future.
Maybe Mr. Other (Miss Other's little brother) will start showing up?
