Why a separate topic

The reason why the contests are separate is simple.
This forum is housed in a 20GB space. So the contests' forum is set to prune itself automatically. That means that after some time, the topics that have not been visited will be deleted.
This is done in order to safe some space. We don't need to see, after all, Day 3 picks from the 2021 Aussie Open when we get to Wimbledon.
Hope it causes no inconveniences.
(and yes, this topic will be deleted sooner rather than later).
