by Irena2 Is anyone watching the streaming version of the mixed doubles final? Keeps getting interrupted here with the ESPN logo and all done/not started theme music. Anyone else experiencing this?
by atlpam Watching on espn app on TV - not having issues today.
by Owendonovan I hate when Errani wins a slam with that crap game of hers.
by ponchi101 Talk about when your game disintegrates. Muchova can hit a FH down the line even if they give her the doubles' alley.
by Owendonovan And Pegula will serve for the match, who knew?

by Owendonovan Was not expecting Pegula in the final, but there she is. She played well tonight, Muchova didn't after the first set.
by jazzyg Sabalenka-Pegula was my final before the tournament started.
Pegula was the best player on hard court this summer and Sabalenka is the best player on hard courts period.

Muchova needs more tough matches to learn to keep her level high...Navarro has done it the hard way - apparently played 88 matches in the lower circuits just to learn and get tough...!
by ponchi101 Pegula beat both Iga and Muchova with a barrage of unforced errors from both. I wonder if she has one of those games that simply start's destroying the opponent's game. Iga was unable to find the court, and Muchova's lovely down the line FH went totally away yesterday.
Pegula can surely play defense. But maybe there is something else to that.

Yes, agree .she has the court sense ,court craft to elicit errors from her opponent..Brad Gilbert had it ..I have seen him destroy opponents like Becker, by apparently doing nothing..
by mick1303 With that win Sara Errani became the most decorated Italian female doubles player, breaking a tie with her partner for many years Roberta Vinci. Now Errani has 6 slams to Vinci's 5. Male Italian players only have 1 each.
