Jan 27
It’s been two weeks of hot and rainy tennis down under, but we’ve named the first crop of 2025 Major Champions! As always, tennis never stops and this week is no different. The WTA will continue its red hot start to the year with the 250 event in Singapore (formally Hua Hin) kicking off Sunday Night here in the United States. Tomorrow, WTA Linz, also a 250, will kick off with the ATP joining in the action with Montpellier. Davis Cup Qualifying will also begin next Thursday.
Coverage will be shifting back to Tennis Channel and TC Plus (friendly reminder to cancel your ESPN Plus subscription if you only purchased for the Australian Open).
Play will start in Singapore late night US Time, with Montpellier and Linz both starting early morning hours and lasting throughout the day. Replays will then air in the afternoons. Keep in mind, with Singapore matches starting late night/very early morning some of those coverage times may start before actual order of play kicks off in Montpellier/Linz.

Tennis Watchers
Feb 2
We’ve got four tournaments on the schedule this week, including three 500 level events! The ATP will be in Rotterdam and Dallas (newly upgraded from a 250 level in 2024). The WTA will be in Cluj-napoca (250) and also kick off the 2025 Middle Eastern swing in Abu Dhabi (500).
Coverage will continue on Tennis Channel with streaming on TC Plus and Tennis TV. We’ve got live tennis in many time zones this week which means play will start in the early morning hours for Abu Dhabi and go all through the evening in Dallas. As a result, some of the coverage blocks will start earlier in the morning and go later in the night. That means replays will also be sporadic throughout the day and again late night.
