by ponchi101 Iga will defend her title. That was a good showing against Svitolina.

by jazzyg There still has not been a single significant result in the men's draw.

It was pretty clear Musetti would reach the semis in his easy quarter. Alcaraz and Sinner appeared to be locks for the semis, and Zverev and Djokovic were locks to meet in the quarters.

Assuming Alcaraz beats Paul today, the Djokovic-Zverev winner will be the first significant moment with the winner not easy to predict.

This is true, but winning a QF at a slam where one is a favorite to win is a sign of maturity and mental strength - many thought that Musetti lacked both. He checked this box, so this is somewhat significant.

by ponchi101 Well, I saw the match and Tommy, to me, did not look injured.
The way Carlos was hitting the ball today, a cheetah running downhill would have not had a chance.

by Owendonovan Musetti's made the semi's of 4 this clay court season. I'd love to see him pull an upset, but don't expect it. He's likable.

I was wondering about this injury that seemed to appear just before Carlos took the first set to love. Does anyone know what the injury is?

Pulled abdomen muscle

by jazzyg Paul was injured during the 2nd round match he came back to win vs. Fucsovics. Showed a lot of toughness to grit that one out.

And he was noticeably pulling up when runnjng to his forehand against Alcaraz.
